Dew Drop Inn is a quaint and cozy old cottage with a beautiful view. Back Bay and Winnipesaukee can be enjoyed from your glassed/screened-in porch. With sleeping for 10, the cottage has hosted many family gatherings. It sits on a corner lot part way up the hill from the beach and playground with a parking area behind. Recently it was set on a grid of steel I-beams and concrete footings. Side sections of roof were just re-shingled. It is slated to be painted by fall of 2017. First Floor: The first floor is knotty pine with some insulation and beautiful old 12" floor boards. The living room has a sofa bed which sleeps 2 (double bed), 2 old, but comfy chairs, lamp and built-in book shelf. The dining area has an extendable wooden table with 4 chairs. The bathroom has a toilet, bar sink, shower and pine cupboards. In the kitchen, you will find a "weekender" fridge, 20" propane stove, large sink, hutch (with drawer, shelves and cupboard), microwave, dishes, pans, pine cupboards and a few small appliances. There is a newly installed cottage-sized water heater. Utility closet can house sports items, tools and a small vacuum. Porches: Approximately 170 sq ft of porch run on front and side: about 60 sq ft screened, 112 sq ft glassed and screened. Glassed-in portion sleeps 3 (1 double, 1 twin) and has a metal-top extendable table with chairs. Second Floor: Front bedroom sleeps 3 (1 double, 1 twin). The back bedroom sleeps 2 (1 double). There is also an army cot and space enough in either room to set up a crib or playpen. Both rooms have cubby closets. There are some linens, one dresser and a fan. All furniture is well-used. Other details: The cottage can come with a canoe, paddles and life jackets (a second canoe needs repairs); a stroller and booster seat; a tandem bike. It also has cell phone and limited wi-fi access from the trailer park; and 3 generations of wonderful memories. The Dew Drop Inn needs the kind of TLC that time and distance have not allowed and although you may choose to replace many things, your attention can be at your leisure. It will be move-in ready.
