For more than 160 years, the Alton Bay Campmeeting Association - known today to our retreat ministry partners as the Alton Bay Christian Retreat Center - has been a haven for believers seeking to encounter God beside the still waters of Lake Winnipesaukee in beautiful Alton Bay, NH.
Overlooking the Lake's peaceful shores, we offer a variety of lodging, meeting, and worship spaces designed to host Christian retreats, ministry gatherings, summer camps, and community events.
Our historic grounds span more than 67 acres and are home to over 140 private cottages, some available for rent or sale.
Our peaceful lakeside grounds house some of the most breathtaking cottages in the country - timeless treasures celebrated by Reader's Digest, highlighted by NH.gov, and admired by visitors and professional photographers from across America and the world.
You would be hard-pressed to find a more beautiful sight to refresh your soul or host a retreat. It is a campus devoted to providing a peaceful haven for rest, reflection, and spiritual renewal.

We continue to proclaim the Gospel message of Jesus on these grounds, honoring the sacred mission that began here in 1863 - to provide a place where people of all ages can grow in their walk with Christ, strengthen relationships, and find inspiration in God's creation.
